T-Chain Modules

Black (PAID Module)

The Black Module is an analog preamp. It is based on the preamp modeling features of PreAMPed, although it includes more detailed modeling of transformer impedance, rail clipping, dynamic noise characteristics, complex harmonic saturation, and more. Black simulates a transformer-coupled input, with discrete circuit amplification. At normal levels, the preamp adds odd-harmonic distortion (predominantly 3rd, 5th, and 7th). Frequency response is +/- 1dB, with some bass and presence boost. The Black Module includes a presence filter for subtly adjusting the brightness of your track.

Digital Comp (FREE Module)

The Digital Comp is a simplified compressor module that includes the same compressor engine as DDC.  Instead of the common controls found on compressors, the Digital Comp simplifies some of the compressor settings by only having 4 controls and a gain reduction meter.

Digital EQ (FREE Module)

The Digital EQ is a 4-band equalizer.  It includes a low shelf, high shelf, and 2 peak filters.

Digital Gate (FREE Module)

The Digital Gate is a simplified gating module.  Even though the Digital Gate is not an expander-style module, the unique Range control allows for both subtle and extreme gating.

Digital HLP (FREE Module)

The Digital HLP is a simple high-pass and low-pass filter. It can be used to roll-off the upper and/or lower frequencies of a track. Additionally, the adjustable Q for each filter can also be increased to exaggerate certain frequencies prior to the roll-off, and a selection for analog or digital frequency response.

Dyno HLP (PAID Module)

Dyno HLP is similar to the Digital HLP module, except the high pass and low pass filters can be dynamic.  With Dyno HLP, the high and low pass filters can be made to dynamically boost/cut frequencies based on the incoming signal.  This is great for adding low punch, adding high sizzle, reducing boom, or reducing harshness; without the need for excessive equalization.
